How do I open my mobile app to approve my transaction ?

Opening your mobile app to approve a transaction

 

With notifications enabled

If you have notifications turned on, you’ll receive an alert asking you to approve the transaction.

  • Tap the notification to go directly to the mobile app login screen.

Without notifications enabled

If you don’t have notifications turned on:

  • Open the mobile app manually as you normally would.

Where to find the approval option

Once you log in, the Approve a Transaction button will appear at the top of your home screen, above your accounts.

 

How approving a transaction in the app works

 

When you’re prompted to approve an online purchase, follow these steps:

  1. Use the latest version of the app.
    If you have more than one device, use the one with the most up‑to‑date app installed.
  2. If notifications are on:
    Tap the notification to go straight to the app.
  3. If notifications are off: 

- Log in to the app manually

- On the home screen, tap Approve a Transaction.

- Confirm your identity using Face ID, fingerprint, or passcode.

- Approve or decline the transaction instantly.
