Why am I getting an error message "App approval is not complete" when trying to approve my online transaction?

The error message "App approval is not complete" will appear if you try to attempt to proceed, by clicking on the "I have approved in my app" blue button on the 3DS screen, before approving the transaction using their mobile app.
