Emergency Cash service

If your debit card is lost or stolen we will cancel your card and let you withdraw up to £300 from our ATMs if you're an Anytime Banking customer, or up to £60 if you're not.

Mobile Banking

Our mobile app is simple, clever and easy to use - you can even use it to withdraw cash from our ATMs and make payments to friends and family using just their mobile number (limits apply). App available to customers with Anytime Banking using compatible iOS and Android devices and a UK or international mobile number in specific countries.

Switch to Ulster Bank

The Current Account Switch Service will do all the work when it comes to switching, moving everything across from your old account all within 7 working days, including Direct Debits and standing orders. All you need to do is tell us the details of your old bank account and when you want the Switch to start.

Understand the cost and impact of overdrafts and whether you're eligible to apply for one. If you don't repay what is owed, you could harm your credit score and borrowing capability.

What you need to open an account

If you're applying online, try and have a passport or a Northern Ireland/UK/Republic of Ireland driving licence to hand along with a working credit or debit card.

If you don't have these available, don't worry. You can still apply online and we will ask you to provide other forms of ID and proof of address that we can accept.
