App available to personal and business customers aged 11+ using compatible iOS and Android devices and a UK or international mobile number in specific countries. Anytime Banking is available to customers aged 11+ with an eligible Ulster Bank Northern Ireland account.
Late or missed payments
It's important to make your payments on time otherwise you could be charged more in interest and it could impact your credit file.
Avoid late payments by setting up a Direct Debit
One simple way of avoiding missing or being late with payments is by setting up a Direct Debit. This would mean the payment would be taken automatically on a monthly basis. You can set the Direct Debit to pay the minimum amount, the full balance or a set amount.
Going over your credit limit
It's important to stay within your credit limit otherwise you could be charged more in interest and it could impact your credit file.
To help you stay within your limit, we will send you a text when you are using 95% of the credit limit. Please ensure your mobile number is up to date so you receive these alerts.
Another simple way to help manage your credit card is by having our Mobile app which means you can log on anyway, anytime and see what your balance is.
Returned payments
A returned payment is when the payment from your Direct Debit or cheque is rejected. This will have been due to insufficient funds in the account that the payment is being made from.
You might want to consider changing the date of your statement which will change your payment date, so that it is at a more convenient time.

For a fast, simple and secure way to pay your Ulster Bank credit card from another UK bank, on our app you can choose to Pay my Card which is powered by Payit. Payit™ is Ulster Bank's new payment solution that allows a fast, simple and safe way to pay. It removes the need for you to enter card or account details, passwords or authorisation codes when you are paying online. Instead, you can make secure, instant payments directly from your bank account or mobile banking.
