• Cover automatically begins when you open your ufirstgold Account.
• Cover includes you, your partner and children under 18 (or under 23 and in full-time education).
• You have to live in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man and be registered with a doctor there.
• A policy excess of £75 applies to most claims for each insured person, for each section, for each claim incident.
• If anyone covered by the policy is aged 70 or over, you must contact us each year to obtain cover. You will need to pay an annual premium of £100 per person insured aged 70 or over.
• You can check online if this travel insurance covers new or existing medical conditions here. An extra fee may apply, or some conditions might not be covered.

If our insurers Allianz are unable to offer you an upgrade to extend the level of cover you need, or your upgrade insurance premium is higher than you expected because you have medical conditions, help could still be available.

Cover is provided for the phones used by you, your partner and your children under 18 who live at home with you or under 23 if they’re in full-time education and live at home with you outside term time. There is no cover for phones owned by your employer. 

You can make 2 approved claims during any 12-month period. If this is a joint account, each account holder can make 2 approved claims (maximum four per account).

Claims are usually settled by repairing your phone where possible. If your phone can't be repaired, or it has been lost or stolen, a replacement phone may be provided.

Replacement phones are refurbished devices in 'as new' condition using genuine manufacturer parts.

There is a £50 excess for repair claims and a £100 excess for replacement claims.

Cover applies to phones with an original purchase price of £2,500 or less (including VAT).

Replacement phones include a 12-month warranty. Walk-in and mobile repairs include a 24-month warranty.

• You can redeem one 5GB eSIM each year to use mobile data abroad. Once your eSIM has been activated it will be valid for 30 days within the country or region selected. Compatible device required.

To avoid disappointment during busy periods, you can pre-book lounge access for £6 per person. You can also bring guests for £25 per person. Joint account holders will each receive their own DragonPass membership and must show their membership card to access lounges and enjoy available discounts.
