I've received an unexpected text alert, what should I do?

If you have provided us with a valid UK mobile number, then you will automatically receive activity alerts.

We'll send you an activity alert as confirmation whenever you:

  • create or amend a payee - either an individual or company
  • create or amend a standing order
  • update your address or telephone details
  • are issued with a new debit/cash card or PIN

If you have received an alert and you don't recognise the transaction or the activity on your account, please contact us immediately or visit a branch.

The easiest way to check or make changes to your alert preferences is to visit the 'Alerts' section of Anytime Internet Banking - www.anytimebanking.ulsterbank.co.uk/login (opens in a new window).

Text alerts are currently not available on business accounts.
