Why did I not get my Google Pay™ verification code?

When adding a card to Google Pay, If you have chosen to verify your card with a one time passcode, you should receive a push notification or a text message with a one time passcode on the mobile number we have for you.

If you do not receive the text message after 30 minutes, select an alternative option to verify your card.
