Is there maximum amount of interest I can be charged each month?

For unarranged overdrafts, the maximum monthly interest charge is £17.25. The monthly cap on unarranged overdraft charges for our standard adult current accounts is £18.80. There is no maximum for arranged overdrafts.

How will I know how much interest I’ve been charged or am going to be charged?

We will send you a monthly statement of interest and charges in advance of them being charged to your account.
