There is a hard search on my credit report which I dont recognise

We're aware that some customers are currently experiencing an issue in the way that a certain search type is being categorised in their Ulster Bank Know your credit score service.

This search alert will be marked as an "Account management" search, and will usually occur when you have either requested a credit limit increase, or when a lender has offered you a credit limit increase.

We’re aware that this is being incorrectly classified as a hard search when it should be soft. We’re working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

In the meantime, rest assured that this is having no impact on your credit score or on a lender's decision if you were to apply for borrowing. The issue only affects how the search type is being presented within your Ulster Bank mobile app.
