What are deep-fakes?

You may have heard term ‘deep-fake’. A deep-fake is when someone uses artificial intelligence to create realistic-looking fake videos or audio recordings. This could involve someone impersonating a trusted individual to manipulate you into sharing sensitive information or making payments.

For example, you might see a social media post that uses a deep-fake video of a celebrity to promote an investment opportunity.

However, it's all fake and just part of a scam.
