  • Log into Anytime Banking
  • Start a chat with Cora by clicking on the "Need help" icon, then "chat now"
  • Type the following to start your account closure: "I want to close my Help to Buy ISA"

Government bonus

If you want to claim the government bonus towards the purchase of your first home, please don't remove the balance from the account.

Anytime Banking is available to customers aged 11+ with an elegible Ulster Bank Northern Ireland account.

Your Special Closure Document

If you're claiming the government bonus towards the purchase of your first home, we'll give you a special closure document. You can give this to your solicitor to claim the bonus on your behalf.

You'll receive your special closing document via the post within 10 working days.
