What is an account number?
An account number is the number that identifies you to your bank. This may be found on a cheque book, paying-in book or bank statement. If you need the account number of someone you want to make a payment to then you should ask the payee to let you have this.
Your Ulster Bank account number will normally be 8 digits long. Account numbers for other banks and financial institutions may vary.
