Got an Android phone? You can store your card details in your secure Google account. Then use your phone to pay for almost anything.

Acceptance worldwide

Cash withdrawal

We understand how important it is for you to be able to access your funds wherever and whenever. Our Mastercard Debit Card will allow you to withdraw up to £1,500 a day, giving you the peace of mind that you can access your funds when you need it most.

Protection for your purchases

If you use your contactless Debit Card to purchase goods or services and they fail to arrive or are damaged, the service is not provided or the retailer has gone out of business, we may be able to help recover the payment if your attempts with the retailer have been unsuccessful.

Mobile Debit payments

You can use Apple Pay and Google Pay™ for payments with your phone, making it easier for those quick transactions.

By proceeding you are acknowledging and agreeing that you understand that Ulster Bank Ireland DAC has made an announcement that the Bank has commenced a phased withdrawal from the Irish banking market which may result in the transfer of your product to another provider.

Fees and charges

Transaction Type: Cash withdrawals in a foreign currency

Inside the UK: 

    From a cash machine

Outside the UK:

    From a cash machine;

    purchase of currency; 

    purchase of travellers cheques;


We will charge a Non-Sterling Transaction Fee of 2.65% of the value of the transaction. 

If you elect for the transaction to be converted into sterling at the point of sale or withdrawal, we will not charge a Non-Sterling Transaction Fee, however the transaction handler may charge you a separate fee. 

Transaction Type: Inside or outside the UK

Payments made in a foreign currency, for example, purchase of goods in a shop while you are travelling and online or telephone purchases. 


We will charge a Non-Sterling Transaction Fee of 2.65% of the value of the transaction.

If you ask for the transaction to be converted into pounds sterling at the point of sale or withdrawal, we wont charge a Non-Sterling Transaction Fee, however, the transaction handler may charge you a separate fee.

Foreign Exchange Rates

Daily debit card foreign exchange rates are set by Visa excluding cash withdrawals at an Ulster Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland or NatWest cash machine in the Republic of Ireland which are set by Ulster Bank.
