Introducing the new Business Cash Card

Our new Business Cash Card is a secure, self serve online card management service designed to support day to day cash handling by authorised staff. 

It allows businesses to issue Business Cash Cards to employees - including non signatories - so they can deposit and withdraw cash on behalf of the business at Post Offices, Automated Teller Machines (ATMs), Cash Deposit Machines (CDMs) and the growing network of Banking Hubs, without requiring access to your business account or using cheques or paying in slips. 

 

Important Information:

  • We plan to extend this service across our own branch counters at a future date
  • Coin withdrawals are not supported with this card at the Post Office or Banking Hub counters - you must register for a Change Giving Card
  • Coin deposits at the Post Office or Banking Hub must be made using full denomination coin bags
  • Account signatories may benefit from our alternative business card options

How it works

Your dedicated Administrators will have access to a self-serve online portal to manage your Business Cash Card requirements. 

They will be able to set withdrawal limits per card, order new and replacement cards as well as many other card management functions. 

The portal will provide you with real time administration and greater spend management.

Is it right for my business?

You might consider a Business Cash Card if you:

  • want to offer staff alternative ways to withdraw and deposit cash, instead of visiting a bank branch
  • want to reduce the paperwork involved in issuing cheques and completing paying in slips
  • want better control over which staff can withdraw cash and how much they can withdraw

Important Information

  • A Business Current Account is required and must be open and active for more than 90 days. 
  • If you have multiple business entities, you are required to submit a separate application for each entity. Each entity will require a separate logon.
  • Cardholders must be aged 18 or over.
