Harnessing the power of people

As supporters of Family Business Week in 2023, we talked to thriving family firms around the UK to find out what makes them tick, how they’re planning for continued growth, and what their succession strategies are to manage the arrival of the next generation.

“We are proud partners of FBUK for the third year in a row, celebrating innovative and pioneering family business leaders and organisations that are shaping the future of family business for the next generation,” says Andy Gray, our Managing Director, Commercial Mid-Market.

“We play a key role in supporting family businesses across the UK and have invested in a number of resources and initiatives so family businesses have the support they need.”

Creating a culture of improvement

Our work supporting family businesses continues this year, starting with our contribution to FBUK’s Leadership Guides, focusing on next generation planning and identifying talent.

“We’re delighted with the launch of these FBUK guides as we understand businesses need practical support to help them adapt for the future,” says Catherine van Weenen, our Regional Managing Director, Commercial Mid-Market, London and the Southeast.
