Who can open a urfirst account?

A parent, godparent, relative or friend can open a urfirst Account for any child under 12 years of age.

Is there an opening deposit required?

You can open a urfirst Account with Henri Hippo with as little as £5.

Do I need to bring ID to open a urfirst Account?

We need proof of identity and address from yourself and the child you’re opening the account for. Please ask any member of our staff to go through the types of identification we need if you are unsure.

When is interest paid into the account?

Interest is credited to the account annually every October.
