Our special switching team is here to make everything easy for you. Their service is absolutely free! We look after:

  • giving you your new cards and cheque book;
  • helping to transfer your salary into your new account;
  • setting up your Standing Orders;
  • asking for your Direct Debits to be set up;
  • transferring any credit balance from your old account - Please note, your old account must be in credit for the switch to take place. Ulster Bank does not facilitate switching a debit balance;
  • arranging to close your old account if you ask us to.
  • We will contact you at various stages of the switching process to keep you updated, if you wish
