Proof of identity - New customers

New customers

If you have an account with another bank or building society, it may help to provide your most recent statement.

If you are applying for a student account, please supply bank statements for one full month.

For an account with a debit card or overdraft facility, you may also need to provide proof of your income. For example, you may need to give your most recent bank statement or three months' salary slips.
