ufirst account - Before you upgrade
The ideal current account for spending, saving, borrowing – and enjoying life
It's easy to upgrade online for your ufirst account – here's all the information you need.
About you and your application
This upgrade process is for existing customers who are registered for Anytime Banking and wish to upgrade their current account to an Ulster Bank ufirst account. Please have your Anytime Banking login details to hand.
We make upgrading easy. There’s no interruption to the running of your account. You keep the same account number and sort code and all your direct debits and standing orders remain unchanged. When upgrading your account you will retain your existing overdraft facility and ATM card (if applicable). Should you wish to apply for a new/increased overdraft or an ATM card you will need to contact your local Ulster Bank branch and speak to a member of staff.
Please note: If you are a Step or Adapt customer you can't upgrade your account to a ufirst account but you can apply for a new ufirst account.
