Ulster Bank YourPoints

The Ulster Bank YourPoints programme is closing.

Ulster Bank Credit Card customers who previously registered for YourPoints will continue to earn 1 point for every 1 spent on their Ulster Bank Credit Card until 30 June 2015.

YourPoints customers will then have until 31 October 2015 to redeem any points earned, after which any points not redeemed will be removed.

Points can be redeemed for a wide range of rewards including travel, shopping vouchers, food and drink, days and nights out, merchandise as well as cash credits to your credit card.

Frequently Asked Questions regarding YourPoints Closure

Why is YourPoints stopping?

Changes being applied across the European cards industry mean that funding for YourPoints has been significantly reduced. As such, it is no longer possible for us to offer the scheme.

What rewards are offered through the YourPoints scheme?

You can redeem YourPoints for a range of rewards, including travel, shopping vouchers, food and drink, days and nights out, and merchandise. You can also redeem points for Cash Credits (see below). Please visit to see our latest offers.

What is YourPoints Cash Credits?

  • You can choose to take YourPoints as Cash Credits. This would be added as a credit to your credit card account 10 days after your request and will appear on your statement.
  • You can redeem a minimum of 2,000 points for a Cash Credit, and in multiples of 2,000 points (2,000, 4,000, 6,000 etc.).
  • Each 2,000 points is worth 5.
  • There's no limit to how many points you can redeem for Cash Credits.

Example: If you cash out 8,000 points, we will credit your credit card account with 20.

What should I do if I've forgotten my login details?

You can reset your password online at - or you can call YourPoints customer services on 0345 070 1277* (Minicom 0800 141 3999) and we'll get you back online again. We can also help you redeem YourPoints over the phone.

What happens to any points I don't redeem?

You can redeem YourPoints until 31 October 2015. After that you'll lose any points you haven't used.

Can I buy more points to reach the minimum value of 1,250 points?

No, you won't be able to buy points to reach the minimum value.

Will the closure of YourPoints affect my current request or travel booking?

Existing YourPoints redemptions and travel bookings won't be affected by the closure.

Will my credit card be affected by these changes?

No. You can continue to use your credit card and the card details won't change. A new card will be sent to you at your renewal date.
